Sorry to hear your plight guys, seems the writing has been on a wall since we moved from being an evening paper. Always looked forward to reading the "Evening Argus" and more importantly the Saturday sports pink with the football results.
One of the frills of it was when you saw your teams result was a late result, so you were none the wiser. That was until you turned the back page on its side and 9 times out of 10 the result you were looking for was there in the late news. Add John Vinicombes reports and we had the perfect paper.
I believe Newsquest are still the owners, have done some IT work them in the past and if truth be told didnt feel there was a happy environment at any of their offices.
Just a thought and maybe a stupid one, are there any possibilities of a management/staff buyout thus returning it to the paper that we the readership really want.
